HISTORY
A Tradition of Service
Our story began in 1944 when H. E. Smith Sr. and his wife Ruby Bell Smith opened their first loan office in Alabama. Since that time, the company has grown to many convenient locations in the Southeast. After the better part of a century, the 4th generation of the family continues to adhere to the core values the business was founded on: treating people with respect, “doing the right thing,” and striving to build long-term relationships with our employees and customers.
